under the golden hue of enameled chandeliers from the mughal era, and on the hand-knotted silk carpets, was raised a little girl in a vibrant family of twenty. the keys of a mighty church organ were amongst the first toys she laid her hands on, and the full-scale greco-roman nudes in alabaster came to be her favorite dolls––having grown up in a residence that housed a myriad of artistic paragons, ranging from the bust of maharaja ranjit singh’s mistress to a 125 years old anglo-celtic grandfather clock, devanshi jain developed a fervent love for art in her early years.

with a BFA in integrated design from parsons school of design, new york, and a diploma in shoe design from istituto di moda burgo, milan; she identifies as an interdisciplinary artist investigating the intersection of fashion, sustainability & humanitarianism.

biomaterials are biopolymers that have been revolutionizing traditional textile-fabrication methods. they range from synthetic leather made from mushroom roots, nylon processed from castor oil to fabrics spun from spider silk.

our plant-based materials are responsibly imported from multiple countries such as mexico [desserto], netherlands [fruitleather], spain [pinatex] etc. which have birthed patented technologies to fabricate them.

while we ensure every piece meets our sustainable criterion, we have also begun building relationships with malai [kerala, india] and are on the lookout for fleather [uttar pradesh, india] to keep the environmental impact as low as possible.
